My “Why”: "For wisdom is a defense even as money is a defense, but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom shields and preserves the lives of its possessors. Eccl 7:12." It has been an uphill journey to get insurance for my husband after he had a heart attack before age 50. We had no knowledge of it and no one spoke to us about it. Knowledge is power, but when you have the knowledge it needs to be applied to defend and preserve your life.
My Passion: I am someone who likes to help people, and it pains me to see people suffer. My goal is to Educate, Empower and Emancipate (3E) people financially. If we look closely, we will see that most of our societal issues revolve around finances. Knowing this, if people are educated on finances then the knowledge will empower them to attain the freedom to live life to the fullest. My mission is to serve my generation according to God’s purpose like King David by making a difference one person, one family, and one business at a time.
I was born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. I was a secondary school teacher for 10 years before immigrating to the United States with my family in 1999. I served families in Milwaukee as an educator for 22 years.
When I served families in this capacity, I saw the lack of financial education and how poverty is attached to every aspect of life. I am resolved to educate, empower and emancipate as many families and businesses as possible, irrespective of where they are in their financial journey.
My approach to helping families and businesses is customized to the needs of the individual, family or business, not a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all approach.
